Thank you so much Gurd and team for reassuring my mum during treatment last week.
I am fuming to say the least. Firstly we had an appointment for my daughter in June, that was cancelled and rebooked for July, that was then cancelled and rebooked for 9th August. After a 5 min initial appointment we were told to come back in 3 weeks, (today, 28/8/18) at 2pm for moulds, xrays etc. So in between my night shifts I have got up after only 3 hours sleep to go collect kids from mums in Heanor to get to the appointment. My daughter is very anxious and we have spent the last couple of days reassuring her that she will be ok + talking through what will be done only to get there and be told " there has been a mix up with whoever made the appointment" which was actually that same receptionist, and we have now been booked in for an appointment in November (which is another 3months wait) I'm so angry about the way we have been messed about. Im hoping that the dental care that my daughter recieves when we actually get something done will make up for the way that we have been treated so far by the incompetent receptionist. Watch this space. We'll see what November brings!!
Travelled from Derby in heavy traffic resulting in 10 minute late arrival. Was turned away and told to rebook. I'm a nurse helping to run a busy NHS outpatient clinic and wouldn't dream of treating service users like that.
Very polite staff. Fantastic treatment (tooth extraction) I never felt a thing.
