After trawling Nottingham City Centre dress shops a few times unsuccessfully for my Mother of the Groom outfit, I decided to go to Purple Robes in Alfreton and I was so glad I did. The staff were incredibly helpful and encouraged me to try on a designer dress and jacket , for a very reasonable price, that had just come in the shop It really suited me and fitted well , and they also said that if I bought it but changed my mind , I could return it the following day. I bought the dress and had so many compliments at the wedding.I wouldnt hesitate to go back to Purple Robes again in the future for any special occasions. If youre thinking of going then you should. I was certainly a very satisfied customer . Thanks again Purple Robes.
What a fabulous visit today to Purple Robes. I came home with a wonderful Frank Usher, art deco inspired gown for my evening wedding reception. Well done and thank you so very much to the marvellously patient and knowledgeable lady in the shop.

Our daughter was starting to look for a dress to wear to her prom in June this year, so we thought we'd visit your store in Alfreton. Both ladies, Dena and Jean, who took care of us were amazing in the service that they provided. They picked out styles which they thought would suit her and after trying on 10+ styles, she didn't find anything that she liked. Dena took our number and was surprised when within the hour she called us to say that a dress had been brought in which she thought would be perfect. We went back and our daughter tried it on and came out of the fitting room beaming! Even mum and dad had a moment!! Well done to Purple Robes, keep up the good work!
Having visited the shop on numerous occasions now i have been blown away by the friendly staff and management. They offer a personal service to everyone who enters, they found me 2 new suits which were very cost efficient and looked amazing. I took my mum over a few weeks ago and they were wonderful with her. the variation in styles and colours and designs is great and we will definitely be going back for more.If your looking for top quality suits, dresses, evening gown or something different for that special event don't go online or go to an expensive shop go to Purple Robes.....
