Nice friendly pub very clean good drink car park just in front of it. Have barbeques in the summer nice out side seating area and sometimes entertainment on.
Two ales on the bar at any one time, which are kept brilliantly and never on the turn. Great atmosphere, very old school. By far the best pub for a fair few miles around. Think the opposite of a town centre weatherspoons

Absolutely loves this place, and I have got to say it is possibly the cleanest pub I have EVER been in. Outstanding choice of real ales, cracking selection of lagers and spirits. Also very reasonably priced for Alfreton. Staff are always on the ball and nothing is to much trouble for them.Well done Nick and Tara, keep up the good work.
Our band played here....nice little pub, good atmosphere, nice rowdy crowd once we were playing, friendly staff and loads of decent ales on for the beer festival. Would definitely come and play here (or just drink here!) again!
