Very pleased with the assistance I received in Tibshelf this evening. The staff member, from Shirland, was very helpful in attending my broken down vehicle at home on behalf of Green Flag.
Car broke down on the A1 at Doncaster whist travelling back to the north east on the Saturday evening before Christmas. After 4 hours waiting on the hard shoulder as a result of dreadful service from the RAC, it attended and contracted Richford to recover the car to a local dealership. The RAC would not supervise the recovery and so we had to wait. The RAC initially quoted 2-3 hours for a recovery contractor to respond. Having taken 1 hour to source a contractor, Richford arrived within 20-30 minutes, much sooner than we were quoted. The driver was polite, insightful and managed the recovery. The telephone operatives, particularly Kirsty were also professional, courteous and solution focused, keeping us in touch with all developments and ultimately recovering the vehicle back to the north-east at no additional expense. Exceptional responsive, pragmatic and solution focused service provided. I do not hesitate to recommend. Many of the reviews provided below appear to relate to the limited coverage provided in RAC/AA roadside assistance rather than the level of service provided by Richford. Mindful of the limitations of the roadside assistance arrangements we also had, Richford Motors provided exemplary recovery services.
Really really bad company is this work with aa but unhelpful unprofessional plus they just move you to nearest garage for repair and can't repair your car on spot another words they don't have any clue or mechanic to fix your car if it's broken down and shame on aa how come they work peoples like this company specifically in Yorkshire areea. Really had bad experience with them last night
Called Audi assistance they contracted work to richford motors was told driver would be with me and my family within the the hour I waited 3 hours they sent me texts to say 5 mins these were repeated when driver came hes attitude stank I suffered a blow out on my tyre on the m1 he instructed me to drive on the alloy knowing this was unsafe I mentioned this to the driver he didnt want to no he then blamed me for this blow out which was crazy he then refused to tow me back home I had to then ring Audi again and they sent AA which were much more helpfull and towed us home. I emailed this company still no response its a cow boy outfit stay away.
